Hey Folks, if you're checking this blog out and wondering why I haven't updated in so long, it's because I've moved all of my blogging to a single place on my website at :

That's where I'll be updating from now on, and this site will be shut down after a few months.

Just got back from Kansas City, I was at the first ever Spectrum Live Art Convention.  Was blown away by the talent and dedication of the artists on display. Saw Phil Hale, Ian McHaig, Brom, Android Jones, Donato Giancola, Justin Sweet, Greg Manchess and tons of other top illustrators. Lots of other incredible artists I had never seen before. At an earlier point in my life being surrounded by so many people above my level of skill would become depressing at a point, but I can find them much more inspiring now. I'll definitely be attending next year.

What's this?  An update after 2 fallow years?  That's right, after a sojourn in the world of fine art and oil portraiture, I'm making my (triumphant? embarrassed? begging?) return to commercial illustration.

Expect new updates soon, as I rebuild my creaky old portfolio.  Here are a couple of pieces I've recently finished. I'll be posting new work here, and updating my main site as I go along.
